Todd Roeth of Nightfox.es is one of the most talented human beings I’ve ever had the honor of working with. He does everything from restoring vintage axes to directing creative for some of the world’s largest brands. Inn undergraduate school, I took a design course from entitled “Interactive Media” and I’ve followed his career ever since. Both Ohioans, we have a deep appreciation for our state’s natural beauty. Todd figured out not to take the outdoors of Ohio for granted well before I did.

For his personal “visual journey” (as he coined it), he asked me to develop a masonry display of posts, when entails fitting differing lengths of content snuggly together. I worked with Masonry.js and developed some customized CSS media queries to give him a consistent and slick experience on all devices. While most masonry-style blog posts keep the widths the same, I wanted to maximize the space and move to a single column on mobile. To top it off, I figured out how to implement infinite scrolling. Goodbye next and previous buttons.
